Urgent! Peace meditation for Iran at 4 hour intervals
Tensions between Washington and Tehran have reached the boiling point after a US drone strike near Baghdad on January 3rd, 2020 killed the leader of the IRGC’s Quds Force – a special unit tasked with operations abroad. Major General Qassem Soleimani, who Trump called Iran’s “terrorist leader,” was instrumental in the defeat of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) in Syria and Iraq.

Iranian officials have blasted the airstrikes as an "act of international terrorism," and have promised to retaliate. Moreover, The UN's top expert on extrajudicial executions said that Washington's decision to assassinate the commander of the Iranian elite Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, cannot be justified under international law.

The Trump administration has yet to publicly explain the legal justification for killing Iranian military commander, prompting Democratic lawmakers to question whether the President had the authority to order the strike without Congressional approval and raise concerns that Iran's potential response was not fully considered.
While top administration officials were quick to defend the operation saying that Soleimani had been involved in planning an "imminent attack" in the region that put American lives at risk, the Pentagon offered a slightly different account, saying in a statement that the strike was carried out to deter future attacks against US interests.

US President Donald Trump says the US military has identified 52 sites of importance to Iran and its culture, which its ready to strike if Tehran targets US citizens or assets to avenge the killing of its top general.
